The mission of this rescue is to maximize animal welfare. Our plan is to drastically reduce the
number of animals that go through the intakes of county animal control units,
that are surrendered, abandoned, neglected and / or abused companion animals.
Our intent is to emphasize the importance of humane animal control
and proper adoption practices.
We want to show and teach people every where why it is so vastly important.
With all that is going on in our nation and the world, these issues do not get enough attention. The unfortunate result of "out of sight out of mind," is cruelty, waste and a death that these creatures surely do not deserve. The numbers are staggering, as shelters, pounds and other organizations euthanize hundreds of companion animals in your area every day. Reality is that millions of them nationwide meet this fate every year and even more globally.
Humane animal control and a solid reliable system to help every pet owner or potential pet owner is our goal. Services to spay or neuter can and should be made extremely affordable and easy to obtain. At times people struggle to pay bills and feed their families so they need help to get food and provide basic veterinary services for their pets. We want to keep there family intact by helping provide these necessary services.
Worst still, poor or non-existent communication and coordination between
government agencies and other pet rescue groups is a primary reason many
treasured lost pets do not make it home. Many even are killed or suffer a
painful death as a result. The technology to change this situation is available now.
It is simple, easy to use and will make a huge difference.
Pet ResQ 911 stands ready to raise awareness and provide
compassionate, workable solutions through innovative technology and
relationships with a caring, well-informed public.
